Principle of anonymous processing

Except in the instances specified below, no personal data is collected, processed or used when you use our website. When you view our website, the following information is transferred while maintaining your anonymity:

  • Referrer URL (the page previously visited)
  • Date and time of server query

PNE AG is unable to attribute this data to any specific person. This data is not amalgamated with any other data source; moreover, the data is deleted after statistical evaluation and used solely to improve the attractiveness, content and functionality of our website.

Collecting, processing and distributing personal data

If a contractual relationship is to be established, furnished or amended, we are collecting and processing personal data according to art. 6, para 1 (b) EU-GDPR if required for such purposes. In order to conduct background checks and screening activities and to comply with legal obligations and for other purposes, as described in this declaration, we collect data from external providers, as the case may be, e.g. from LexisNexis GmbH. The LexisNexis GmbH is responsible for all personal data, which it collects and maintains about you, until we receive the data. To find out more about how LexisNexis collects and uses your personal data, please read its data protection declaration If there is no contractual relationship, we are processing your personal data according to art. 6, para. 1 (f) EU-GDPR if required for maintaining our legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests are pursuing our main business objective, which is planning and executing projects in the field of renewable energies.

You do not need to provide personal data for visiting our website. If you transfer personal data, such as name and contact information within the scope of a contact form, to us, this is done exclusively based on voluntary consent according to art. 6, para. 1 (a) EU-GDPR. If you contact us by way of a PNE AG website, your data will be transferred to us by our provider via e-mail and will be deleted immediately upon answering the e-mail if there is no further co-operation, no subscription to the newsletter or no legal obligation to keep records. If necessary, your data will be sent to service partners acting on our behalf (e.g. IT service providers). In these instances, the scope of the data transmitted will be kept to the essential minimum. They are not used for any other purpose or transferred to third parties or are only used and transferred to the extent advised to you.
